From blurry sight to reading again without glasses.
I am Mrs Coker Janet and if i must tell you the truth, i suffered. I really suffered for many years. My eyes gave me serious problems ranging from blurry to teary to partially impaired vision. So bad that i was asking myself at some point if i was blind. I couldn't see someone from as near as 2 metres away. Only until they come very close does their face become recognizable or if it were someone familiar like my children or grandchildren and they speak, then my best bet to recognize them from far was their voice.
I had several tests, one optometrist said it was glaucoma, another said it was cataract. I stopped listening to them cos all they do is make me afraid. You know how scary listening to these people can be. If you have ever been to the hospital listening to a doctor analyze your health issue, you will understand what i'm saying. This doctor was already mentioning operation. I said please, let me go. I'm not interested in any operation.
Anyways, my children got me the glasses and eye drops prescribed and change it very often to help my vision.
It was so bad that i was changing glasses every 6 months. At least, that's what the optometrist told me i have to do because after that short period, my glasses become weak and unable to give me the visual aid i require again. Oh, and have i told you i was a principal in a public secondary school, in Remo, Ogun State.
Yes, i was. I retired early because of my eye issues. What's the job of a principal when she's finding it difficult to read a common report?
SO, ONE DAY
December 3, 2022, i can never forget. I was peacefully sitting at the verandah of the house when my first born son came in. You know these children, he came to see his mother. And he was holding 2 bottles in his hand. After greetings, he stretched them towards me. "For your eyes", he said. Ah, where did you get it? He said he bought it online that he has heard a lot about it from his ogas at work and the moment he also saw it on social media, he decided to get for his mother. This boy!
